Acoustically matched to deliver a highly immersive stereo field, when the SP-1s are used as a pair you can achieve tight X/Y patterns as well as deeper immersion when used as a spaced pair. The SP-1 comes complete with a sturdy T-bar mount which allows you to easily mount the matched pair for stereo configurations. The classic-style cardioid design provides a highly focused sound, minimising background noise for clear and refined audio. Not only that but the SP-1s feature a robust and road-worthy build with a vintage aesthetic and a sleek finish.

One of the things that sets the SP-1 apart from conventional pencil microphones is the inclusion of custom presets designed by Universal Audio specifically for this mic. Sound just like the pros using the various presets on offer. You can achieve everything from adding sizzle and sparkle to your cymbals or enhancing stringed instrument recordings with rich stereo immersion.
As well as the presets, the SP-1 matched pair come complete with a range of accessories including the previously mentioned T-bar. Also included are two foam windscreens that can help when recording outdoors – minimising wind noise so you can capture your performances with the utmost fidelity. Two mics stand mounts and two thread adapters are also included for maximum compatibility.
