The Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 Standalone Sampler is a compact yet versatile DJ sampler, designed for live performers. At the heart of the DJS-1000 are 16 multicoloured touch performance pads. These robust performance pads allow you to trigger everything from samples and loops to vocals and more. Each of the pads is velocity-sensitive and provides multi-coloured illumination, making it ideal for low-light environments – perfect for the club. It also boasts a powerful step sequencer which features 16 large, multi-coloured step input keys, allowing you to create grooves, rhythms and sequences with in-depth control for optimal flexibility.
Touch Strip & Live Sampling
One of the most unique features of the sampler is the integrated touch strip. This touch strip allows you to bend the pitch of a sound, or play a drum roll by using the note repeat feature. This is perfect for adding extra expression to your performances, opening up a new world of possibilities when it comes to sound design. You can also sample input sounds, then use them instantaneously as individual tracks. The sampled sounds are synced automatically with your sequencer to create a loop; giving you the ability to create live remixes on the fly. You can sample from any source including turntable audio or sounds from your mixer.
Performance FX & Accurate Syncing
As well as being able to create loops and rhythms on the fly, you can also incorporate a wide range of premium-quality FX. Change everything from the tone to the atmosphere using effects such as echo, reverb, filtering and more. You can use them on individual tracks or with a group of tracks for optimal flexibility. Additionally, the sampler can sync easily with other MIDI devices. The Beat Sync function synchronises a performance with a track playing on a CDJ-2000NXS2 or XDJ-1000MK2 set-up using PRO DJ LINK. This allows you to use the nudge and tempo slider parameters to adjust beat options and tempo manually.
Design & Connectivity
The compact yet robust design is ready for the road. It will fit perfectly alongside CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 for a seamless setup. It also features a 7-inch, full-colour touch screen providing information on everything from your sampled assigned tracks to sequencer patterns, volume levels and more. Additionally, it comes complete with 2,500 on-board Loopmasters samples to get you performing straight out of the box.
