The Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP1 DJ Controller is the perfect companion for Rekordbox DVS and Rekordbox DJ. This intuitive and versatile DJ Controller the perfect solution for adding a new layer to your performances, allowing you trigger samples, FX, loops and more. The highly compact yet feature-filled design is ideal for everything from finger drumming to trigger one-shot samples during DJ sets. The sleek design features symmetrical control on either side, virtually acting as a 2-channel controller. The DDJ-XP1 features 32 performance pads, as well as integrated touch strips for generating and controlling FX. Additionally, the controller comes with a free licence key for Rekordbox DJ & Rekordbox DVS, to get you started straight out of the box.

32 Multicoloured Performance Pads

The 32 illuminated performance pads are split into two sections, with each side of the controller providing you with symmetrical controls, for added convenience. This means you can store two different banks of sounds or loops on either set of pads, and play them independent of each other for maximum versatility. The pads themselves are backlit with a range of colours, allowing you to organise them, and indicating when the pads are in use with different modes. The performance pads boast ultra-low-latency performance, reacting in almost real-time for optimal performance value. This makes them ideal for everything from finger-drumming to triggering one-shot samples and more.

Slide FX & Dedicated Controls

As well as the 32 performance pads, the Pioneer DDJ-XP1 also boasts Slide FX strips for triggering and controlling built-in effects on the fly. You can combine a number of FX together, and dynamically control them using the strips. Simply move your finger up and down the strips to control the modulation of the FX, eliminating the need to switch the FX on and off. There are three FX in total, which can be selected using the 3 dedicated buttons above the strips. There is also a Hold button located underneath the strip, which will hold the FX function until the Hold button is deactivated. The controller also features dedicated buttons for switching between Keyboard Hot Cue, Pad FX and Sampler modes. It also boasts Master Tempo, beat Sync and Semitone buttons for activating these functions.

Compact, Robust Design

The compact and robust design of the controller, makes it ideal for use with professional DJs on the move. The sleek yet durable construction features a pressable rotary selector in the top centre of the controller, allowing you to navigate in the tree view or track list within Rekordbox. This eliminates the need to jump back to your computer during a performance. The controller comes complete with a USB cable for connecting the controller to your computer. Its portable size also means it can fit in any backpack and some larger laptops bags, allowing you to transport your controller with ease. Additionally, the controller features Kensington security lock located on the rear of the unit for added protection.
