Versatile DJ Sampler

The Korg mini KAOSS Pad 2S features a range of versatile functionality and controls that allows you to add a new dynamic to your live performances. Ideal for everyone from DJs to digital musicians, the korg mini KAOSS PAD 2S features a newly added sampler function which allows you to trigger voice samples, sound effects etc. with a touch of a button. The sample function is perfect for adding transitions and one-shot sounds on the fly, something which can be utilised at its best within a DJ set. The sampler features three playback modes: One Shot, Gate and Loop. The sampler also allows you to change the playback speed (pitch) and trigger cue points that specify the playback start position for added convenience. Additionally the sampler features a built-in recorder which allows you to capture sounds through either the line-in or the built-in microphone.

Intuitive Touch Pad

One of the most unique features of the Korg mini KAOSS Pad 2S is the integrated touch pad which allows you to control effects using your fingers, thanks to the X/Y configuration that gives you full rein over your controls. The touch pad is also highly versatile, working well in a range of situations and featuring a range of added functions that improve overall performance. When you take your finger off the touchpad, the FX RELEASE function automatically adds a delay effects so the sound will blend smoothly into your set. There are also three ‘Program Memories’ which allows you to instantly recall your favourite effects and the built-in microphone lets you apply effects to your own voice. The unit itself features over 100 built-in effect programs giving you optimal control over your mixing and sound modification. Additionally you can record your mini Kaoss Pad’s performance in WAV format using the master record function.

Battery Operated With Built-In Speaker

The Korg mini KAOSS Pad 2S is battery-operated and features a built-in speaker so you can perform anywhere at any time. It also features a built-in audio player which allows you to play your favourite songs directly from a microSD card. 6 preset audio demo loops are also installed in the internal memory, allowing you to audition the various effect programs straight out of the box. Additionally the mini KAOSS Pad 2S features ‘Auto BPM Detection’ syncs the applicable effects to the tempo of the songs, ideal for moving in sync with your performance.
