Hercules have equipped the Inpulse with a reinvented control panel, the smooth design not only improves the aesthetic quality, but also gives you a smoother and ergonomic hands-on physical interaction. An improved jog wheel design with a superior rotation and enlarged detection zone provides a silky-smooth action when adjusting the track during your mix, and eight pressure sensitive back-lit performance pads with understated markings let you interact with the FX dynamically, utilise sampling, hot cue and loop your tracks effortlessly, and utilise the Inpulse 200 MKII's ultimate stem separation feature.
Stem separation is usually found on high end DJ controllers, this controller can separate vocals and instrumentals so that you can combine your favourite anthems with melodic vocals from your other cherished songs. Containing all industry standard DJ controls, such as a three-band EQ, channel faders, a crossfader, cue, play and sync buttons, and general volume controls for the master out, headphones and individual channel gain. This controller has it all, it even has a dedicated sweep filter on each channel.
Effortless workflow and connection
Alongside the Inpulse 200 MKII itself, Hercules provide demonstrations on how to DJ with their equipment on their website, under the DJ academy section. This is another useful tool for beginner DJs who want to get to grips with their equipment. Browsing your music library within the software you're using is easy, in the top centre of the control panel is a large browsing dial that lets you smoothly navigate through your tracks so you can find the perfect one. Below this knob is a button that’s used to bring up the IMA feature, and above each channel's gain dial is a load button for speedy track application to the deck.
To connect the controller to your laptop, the Inpulse 200 MKII comes with a braided USB cable that bus powers it, and to connect the decks to your speakers the DJ Control Inpulse MK2 has a balanced dual RCA output.
