The new Denon Professional DN-500AV pre-amplifier provides contractors, consultants, and system integrators with the most affordable and professional option to providing high-quality, channel-separated balanced audio outputs – complete with easy-to-use, controllable source switching.
Many professional AV systems now require both HDMI in/out and HD surround sound decoding for use in everything from big installations with multiple amps driving line array systems to small boardrooms and private theatres with active monitor systems, and the Denon Professional DN-500AV fits that bill.
Besides a full complement of standard analog and digital inputs on the rear panel, audio sources can additionally be accessed via the front panel USB port including thumb drives, external hard disc drives or portable media devices. And expanding the range of accessible content further, music and even pictures can be accessed from network appliances via DLNA streaming devices such as a PC or NAS drive. The DN-500AV also allows local connections to its rear panel from Blu-ray or DVD players via HDMI, composite, or component cables.
