The SUB612 Active Subwoofer is ideal for low-end sound reinforcement, perfect for use with dB Technologies’ full-range systems like the Opera 10 and more. Building on the design and success of the previous SUB range, the SUB612 employs the same design aspects, refined for optimal audio fidelity and performance. At the heart of the unit is the 600W RMS Class-D Amplifier with SMPS, providing exceptional sound pressure levels, ranging up to 129dB. The powerful low-end response, provides optimal definition and sound reproduction, resulting in hard-hitting bass that stays true to your source audio. The subwoofer is ideal for a range of applications, from live performances for musicians and DJs, to houses of worship and more.
Exceptional Low-End Performance
Basing its design on the rest of the SUB range, the impressive sound quality is powerful enough to fill virtually any venue. The bass-reflex design provides added clarity to the bottom-end response. It is ideal as the basis for any PA system, ideal for use when configured with 2 full range speakers. The X-Over signal mode is designed to feed both left and right speakers, eliminating any external processing or crossover for added convenience. A polarity inversion switch is also included for calibrating your sound for optimised audio performance.
Robust Enclosure
The compact yet robust design measures at 12-inches tall. The compact housing is also lightweight, weighing in at only 19.8kg, ideal for easy transportation purposes. The enclosure itself is constructed from premium-grade wood, finished with a scratch-resistant black covering for optimal durability. Stacking is made easy by the design of the top side, also featuring a M20 pole mount thread for stacking full-range speakers. The control panel features Mono or Stereo operating modes as well as a LF frequency boost EQ thanks to the Sub Mode switch.
