Roland Announce The MV-1 Verselab - An All In One Music Production Workstation Capable Of Creating Songs, From Start To Finish.

The new Roland MV-1 Verselab looks to be an incredible tool for songwriters, producers and beat makers. It’s an all-in-one music production centre that lets you start a song, and finish it, or just get some ideas down, without having to use much equipment. There’s a lot of technology packed into this little workstation giving you high-quality sounds for your music, plus it integrates with Zenbeats so you can connect it to your smartphone, tablet or computer and share projects really easily.

Zen-Core

Tucked away inside the Verselab is Roland’s most advanced sound engine - the ZEN-Core Synthesis System, which you’ll also find in many of their popular synths. With the Roland MV-1, you can programme melodies, basslines and chords with super high-quality sounds (there’s over 3000 altogether with the option to expand via the Roland Cloud), saving the need to record synths, keys and other instruments separately - you can do it all in the Verselab.

RGB-Lit Pads and TR-REC Sequencer

The MV-1 Verslab features 4x4 velocity-sensitive pads that you can use for pretty much any part of your songwriting and recording process. They’re great for programming beats, and, with sounds from legendary machines such as the TR-808 built in, you can get some really cool results. There’s also a TR-REC sequencer on board, so you don’t have to play every drum or bass part in manually - you can set the sequencer, and let it do the hard work for you.

Studio-Quality Vocal Processing

The Verselab isn’t just for programming synthesised sounds - it’s also got plenty of vocal processing power on board two. There’s a high quality XLR input, with phantom power, so you can plug in your favourite microphone and lay down some vocal (or acoustic instrument) tracks. On hand, you’ve even got quality effects such as a harmoniser, auto-pitch and doubler so you can get studio-like results. The layout of the Roland MV-1 also makes arranging vocals easy - you can copy and drop them wherever they’re needed. Once you’ve finished, you’ve then got a fully-recorded song with high quality instrument and vocal sounds, and all from the compact Roland Verselab MV-1.
