Rode NT1A Vocal Recording Pack

A fixed cardioid pickup pattern produces a warm tone designed to flatter the vocalist, with a strong low-end and pleasant high-end lift. The cardioid pickup pattern exhibits a proximity effect, which will boost the low-end further when the microphone is placed close to the source. This effect can be used to get a variety of different sounds without having to resort to any EQ. Simply move closer for more bass and back off for a more natural flat low-end.

The bundled shockmount isolates the microphone from any physical vibrations, which may be picked up by the sensitive condenser capsule. Plosive sounds such as b's, p's and t's can often cause a low-frequency spike, as a result of air rushing out of the vocalist's mouth and spoiling a recording. The bundled pop shield will absorb these plosives, protecting the microphone and the recording, ensuring your recordings stay clean of any unwanted pops. The 20-foot XLR cable and dust cover for storage are also included in the package.

To help you get started, the Complete Vocal Solution bundle includes an instructional DVD full of tips and tricks for recording and getting the best results out of your new microphone.
