M-Audio ProFire 2626 (26 x 26 Firewire Audio Interface)

Delivering 26 inputs and 26 outputs with every main type of audio connection required the M-Audio Profire 2626 is the Swiss army knife for the modern recording studio.

The front panel is where the controls are situated with gain control for all 8 mic/line Octane combo preamps. Clip and level indicators on each channel make it easy to monitor individual signals. Two instruments inputs give you easy access to record guitar and keyboard, switchable between the preamps on the rear.

Phantom power can be selected in blocks of four to power up to 8 studio condenser microphones. Two headphone outputs with level control and a master volume control complete the beautiful black aluminium front face of the ProFire 2626.

On the back 8 Octane combo pre-amps give you plenty of mic/lin inputs for multiple recording. Optical ADAT inputs / outputs expand the Profire 2626's flexibility to record more channels if required, and a din connection for the included MIDI / SPDIF breakout cable.

With the ability to sample at 24bit/192kHz the Profire 2626 also provides JetPLL Technology which eliminates jitter giving you rock solid stabilization.

The onboard DSP and software router lets you customize the way you record by taking the input signal and routing it any way you want saving the settings for quick recall in the studio or when performing live.
