Complicated signal paths and an unruly webs of cables are a thing of the past. Now you can plug your instrument, amp heads and one speaker cab into the single handy unit that gives you the ability to use your Marshall head for rhythm and your Mesa-Boogie head for soloing, with switching only a foot stomp away! Featuring 100 discrete class-A circuitry for unparalleled audio performance, transformer isolated guitar signal paths to eliminate ground loops, plus a choice of either buffered or un-buffered inputs to optimize the signal path. The Tonebone Headbone's internal switching comprises a series of relays, opto-couplers and load resistors, which are all sequenced by a digitally programmed chip. Hit the footswitch and the Headbone jumps into action as it toggles the guitar signal from one amp to the other, disconnects the speaker and diverts the signal to a load resister, reconnects the speaker to the second head and turns the guitar back on - all in milliseconds that you won't even notice! Radial's Safemode™ features in the Headbone so if the worst happens and power is lost, it's not a problem, the guitar input will automatically switch off and your amps stay safe.To connect the Headbone, you will only need three guitar cables and three speaker cables, all of which can be hidden behind the amp out of view. The mess of leads you're used to will disappear with the Slingshot™ feature; it allows remote operation of the unit with any standard footswitch or MIDI controlled contact closure.
