What’s new in version 3.5

The release of version 3.5 sees a wide range of upgrades, enhancements and new features designed to boost your workflow and creativity. One of the most prominent new features is the VST Expression Maps. This new feature gives you unprecedented control over your virtual instruments, providing optimised handling of your library's sounds and parameters. Using conditional switches within the VST Expression Maps allows you to dictate a number of rules for different parameters, for example, you can set it to trigger a particular sound when the note is shorter for more realistic expression.

Improvements have also been made to the guitar notation within Dorico, as well as enhancements to the interface, notation capabilities and part layouts. Also included is one of the most comprehensive Figure Bass features found in any music software. Other new features include: Pitch before duration input, chord diagrams, Music XML export and a whole host more.
