Featuring four high-precision touch faders with LED-based metering, solo/mute function and two operation modes, this portable USB-controller tremendously speeds up your mixing workflow.
The CMC-FD carries four newly developed, touch-sensitive faders that provide precision control over four Cubase channels at the same time. What sets the CMC-PD apart is the ultra-high resolution of up to 1,024 steps — a big plus that allows you to fine-tune the volume level with utmost accuracy. But the CMC Fader controller also functions as a convenient level meter. Once in the Meter mode, red LED lights exactly indicate the volume levels of the selected tracks.
The navigation through the Cubase mixer is as easy as it gets: simply press the Channel Select or Bank Select buttons and directly jump to the desired channels or whole groups of channels in the Cubase mixer. For even more convenience in the mixing process, you can solo and mute channels by simply pressing the Shift button and tapping onto the respective touch strip — that’s it.
Best of all, up to four CMC-FD units can be combined to build a fully fledged, sixteen-channel touch control desk. For perfect usability, the physical layout management system remembers the arrangement of the CMC units on your desk.In other words, the CMC-FD allows you to adjust sub groups within no time, solo and mute several tracks at once or fine-tune a channel’s volume with 1,024-step resolution — all from one pioneering touch device that is perfectly integrated with the Cubase music production system.
