The V-1SDI is equipped with two SDI program and preview outputs, an HDMI output and a stereo audio output. Both the SDI and HDMI preview outputs can be set to a multi-view mode, where all the inputs are displayed with coloured borders which indicate the program and preview selections, or in a full-screen mode. The HDMI multi-view output also includes audio metering for the audio sources. Additionally, the preview output can also be used for additional, menu-driven setup control, or as a second output for applications such as simultaneous webcast or recording output.
Powerful and Versatile
The Roland V-1SDI provides you with both picture-in-picture and split compositing effects for graphic inserts. Additionally, the DSK allows you to switch input sources underneath overlaid titles and graphics, as well as green screen capabilities. The output fade includes audio fade-out and Auto-Scan functions. The integrated 14-channel audio mixer offers a three-band parametric EQ, reverb, up to 500ms delay for accurate lip-sync, a compressor/gate on the microphone input and level/mutiband EQ on the master mix. The V-1SDI also features a headphone output which provides you with the ability to monitor the audio in real-time.

The V-1SDI features a clean, intuitive control layout with multi-function buttons, control knobs and a large T-handled Fader for transition operations. The rugged construction ensures long-term reliability even under the most demanding conditions of both portable and permanent professional applications. The Roland V-1SDI Video Switcher can also be controlled by the companion PC/Mac applications when connected via USB, while the RS-232 connector allows integration with third-party control systems.
