Introducing PreSonus MicroStation BT Bluetooth Monitor Controller

The PreSonus MicroStation BT is a really handy little tool. How many times have you wished you could stream bluetooth audio from your, or a friend or client’s phone? This is a compact monitor controller that not only gives you control over your volume, but it acts as a bluetooth receiver so you can stream any bluetooth audio signal through your favourite speaker setup. There’s even a Sub Out connection so you can add more low end, creating a 2.1 speaker system.

The MicroStation BT has two balanced 1/4” jack inputs so you can use it in line with your audio interface - simply go out of your interface, into the MicroStation BT, then take the 1/4” jack outputs to your monitor or reference speakers. Because it’s independent of your interface, you can place this wherever you like on your desk, so that it’s always handy for controlling your speaker volume. The user interface is well designed too, with a large master volume knob and four other buttons (Mute, Bluetooth, Pair and Sub Bypass). Pairing and using bluetooth is easy, with just the click of a couple of buttons.

Sometimes, regular speakers don’t cut it when it comes to low end frequencies. If you’re using a lot of super bassy instruments in your mixes, then you’ll likely benefit from adding a subwoofer into your speaker setup. The PreSonus MicroStation BT lets you do this easily - there’s a dedicated Sub output on the back, so you can plug in and go. This also means that you get a better bass response when you’re streaming music via bluetooth! The Sub Bypass button then lets you listen in regular stereo mode, without having to unplug or rewire anything. 

The MicroStation BT doesn’t take up much room and will sit nicely in any level of recording setup.
