A solid all round portable USB audio Interface suited to home project studios and mobile recording.

Lightweight and robust the M-Audio Fast Track Pro is one of the best selling portable USB Audio Interfaces of its generation.

On the front panel of the Fast Track Pro you get 2 channels with combo Jack/XLR inputs for connecting instruments and microphones. +48v Phantom power is selected via a switch on the back, required for powering studio condenser mics. Both channels feature gain control with level indicators for signal and clipping alongside a -40db pad for reducing the input signal.

For direct monitoring the Fast Track Pro includes a 6.3mm headphone jack connection with volume control, and a main output level knob for control over the master volume. The mix control differentiates between the sound from the audio interface and any external effects you may introduce to the mix.

No need for any external power supply the Fast Track Pro takes power directly from your computers USB port, making the interface handy for mobile recording applications. A power supply can be used however this is not supplied in the box.

On the back you get two 6.3mm TRS balanced output connections and a further 2 stereo RCA (Phono) outputs. The Fast Track Pro is also an attractive USB Audio Interface for DJ’s who need to monitor two separate audio sources. Stereo inserts allow you to connect external hardware effects and although only usually found on the higher M-Audio Interfaces you get MIDI I/O for connecting keyboards and MIDI controllers, as well as S/Pdif for transmitting digital signals.
