The new Fast Track C-series sets a new standard for simplicity without compromising quality, M-Audio completely re-designed the layout of the Fast Track C400, with the main controls conveniently located on the top of the audio interface.
The top face of the Fast Track C400 features an easy accessible panel with rotary knobs and buttons designed for quick operation. Input controls including gain and pad are on the left, and output controls for master volume and headphone are on the right allowing you to fully focus on the music.
The multi button is one of the coolest features providing you with immediate access to the most frequently used software functions helping to simplify the workflow.
Two 6.3mm inputs head up the front of the C400 for recording Guitar and other instruments, with a headphone output for monitoring recordings.
The back panel has plenty of I/O for the modern mobile studio with 2 combo (6.3mm Jack and XLR) pre-amps for recording dynamic or studio condenser microphones. 4 balanced line outputs make up the monitor control system giving you the option to switch between speakers. S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs offer even more I/O options with everything connected via high speed USB 2.0.
Free up USB ports on your computer by connecting MIDI equipment such as MIDI keyboards, controllers and synthesizers directly to the C400 with the 1x1 MIDI I/O option.
What separates the C400 from the rest of the Fast Track range is the built in Max core DSP giving you effects such as Reverb and delay to add to the monitor mix or through the headphones.
Shipping with Avid Pro Tools SE the Fast Track C400 includes everything you need to get started and is also compatible with all the big DAW manufacturers including Cubase, Ableton and Pro Tools.
