It’s a recording studio in a box equipped with Pro Tools M-Powered Essential Software, based on the same Pro Tools platform used in recording studios around the world. The included Software features 24-bit/48kHz audio recording with up to 16 simultaneous tracks, 8 MIDI tracks and 8 simultaneous virtual instruments tracks.
With powerful professional audio effects the Pro Tools M-Powered Essential software allows you to polish your mix with world class results.
Make your own beats and songs with included Structure Essential Virtual Instrument along with comprehensive library of 3gb loops to aspire and enhance your compositions from start to finish.
Fast Track 2 is also compatible with today’s most popular DAW software including Pro Tools, Reason, Ableton and Cubase.
Recording guitars and vocals is simple thanks to the ergonomically designed top mounted input gain and volume controls providing increased visibility when tracking your recordings.
The front of the Fast Track features an XLR microphone input with phantom power for use with dynamic and condenser studio microphones, and a direct monitor button to eliminate audio latency entirely. There is also a headphone output for monitoring recordings.
The back of the Fast Track 2 incorporates high gain RCA (Phono) outputs for connecting the interface directly to a pair of studio monitors. The USB 1.1 connecter is for plugging the Fast Track directly into your PC or Mac with and the 48v Phantom Power switch allowing you can arm or disable +48v anytime.
With clean pre-amps, direct monitoring and Pro Tools M-Powered Essential recording software the M-Audio Fast Track 2 offers world class recording with no compromises.
