he IK Multimedia Master Equalizer 432 Software (Download) is a full parametric equalizer based on popular analog hardware in the field of mastering. The EQ is designed for minimal interaction between the different bands and modeled after premium op-amps and a transformer-less signal path. It features two bands of shelving EQ and three bands of peaking EQ. The low peaking parametric band is selectable between 11 and 570 Hz. The mid peaking band is selectable between 125 and 6200 Hz. The high peaking parametric band is selectable between 3400 and 25,000 Hz.

Three advantages of the digital version of the EQ include total recall of settings, full automation over the equalizer parameters, and three different selectable gain ranges.

The left and right sides of the equalizer can be linked or switched to operate in L/R mode or M/S for mid-side operation. In M/S mode, the mid channel is the mono sum of the sound stage and the side channel is the difference between the left and right channels. A reset switch can be used to restore the original settings.

The plug-in is fully compatible with native 32- and 64-bit applications on both Mac OS X (Universal Binary) and Windows (XP/Vista/7/8) computers. It supports VST, RTAS, AAX, and Audio Units plug-in formats. It can also be used with the T-RackS CS standalone application (sold separately).
