Key Info
Loop your way Total control.
Loopers are becoming more and more commonplace in live shows. Whether you are a solo artist looking to thicken up your sound, or your in a band that likes to experiment with new sonic layers, you need a looper that gives you full control over your performance. The HeadRush Looperboard does just that. With 12 footswitches and an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen you can manage every aspect of your loop. The touchscreen gives you instant feedback, simply swipe, drag and drop to easily edit your loop.
When performing on stage the last thing you want to be doing is bending down to adjust your settings. That's why the Looperboard has 12 built-in footswitches. These switches allow you to access all the crucial looping functionality at your feet. Not only can you record, overdub, start, and stop loops, you can also reverse, transpose, undo/redo or even chance the length and speed of the loop, just by using the footswitches.
Stay in sync
One common problem with using looper in a band, is that everyone has to stay perfectly in sync. If the drummer misses a beat then your loop goes massively out of time and you usually have to abandon it. This is not the case with the Looperboard. By utilising its powerful quad-core DSP system, it can intelligently time-stretch the loop to match the speed you tap out on the tempo footswitch. It does this without any annoying pops or glitches, all while retaining the original the pitch of the recording, so you can change the speed of your loop while keeping your performance going.
Flawless effects
Expand your tonal pallet. With a wide selection of premium built-in effects, the HeadRush Looperboard lets you assign virtual effect racks to either the induvial looper tracks, or directly to the inputs. Each effect rack can contain multiple individual effects, expertly designed for specific applications such as vocals, guitars, percussion, and more. These effects can also be tweaked, allowing you to add a unique touch to your sound. And if that's not enough you also can assign up to four effect parameters that can then be controlled by an external expression - ultimate creative freedom.
Maximum connectivity
The HeadRush Looperboard has a wide selection of input and output options. Firstly there are four combo XLR 1/4 inch inputs with switchable +48V phantom power, so you can plug almost any instrument or mic into the Looperboard. You also get two XLR, and two 1/4 inch output jacks, so you can easily plug this floor unit into an guitar amp or pa system, or both. Using the touchscreen you have full control over which inputs and outputs are used, and where audio is sent. Want the backing track to go to one output and a click track to go to another? Anything is possible with the routing options on the Looperboard.
There's more, if you have a large live setup you will be pleased to know that you can sync this looper using MIDI, so it will be perfectly in time with any drum machines, synthesisers, or other MIDI devices. You also get a super high quality USB recording output, so you can use the Looperboard as an audio interface. With studio quality 24-Bit 96kHz audio, and a special HeadRush edition of Pro Tools | First included, you have everything you need to transform your Mac or PC into a recording studio.
Never stop looping
With over 8 hours of internal recording time, you can loop your whole set and not run out of space. If you like to use pre-existing loops while you play, you might find that you eventually run out of space. However, there's no need to worry. The Looperboard has a rear SD card slot and two USB-A drive inputs, allowing you to expand the built-in storage and record even more. With 300 built-in loops to get you started, and the ability to transfer loops between the looper and your Mac or PC, you have everything you need to explore the exiting world of live looping. Intuative control, impeccable sound. Could you ask for anything more?
