Powerful Mic Preamps & Precise Conversion

The Clarett 2Pre incorporates 2 microphone preamps with a low-distortion, ultra-linear design that have been specially crafted to deliver a clean, transparent, and powerful sound. Record guitars, vocals, and more through the 2 ultra-low noise Clarett mic preamps, which provide you with incredibly accurate audio. Additionally, the mic preamps also include a unique 'Air' feature, which enables them to reproduce the input impedance, clarity and frequency response curve of Focusrite's original ISA mic preamp, providing you with a cost-effective solution for recording in a true analog style tone. The Focusrite Clarett 2Pre USB delivers up to 119dB dynamic range and 24-bit/192kHz A-D and D-A conversion, making it a first choice for capturing audio to your DAW.

Versatile Connectivity

Incorporating dual XLR ports, 2 line/instrument inputs, 2 additional line outputs, MIDI I/O, headphone port and ADAT input, the Clarett 2Pre USB allows for multiple connections for versatile recording scenarios. The Clarett 2Pre USB allows you to connect up to 2 microphones and 2 instruments simultaneously. The 2 high-headroom instrument inputs allow you to record super-hot pickups with no unwanted noise distortion. The Clarett features 2 monitor outputs with anti-thump technology, which protects your speakers from spikes when booting up and shutting down. The line inputs can be used to connect to external devices. Additionally, the audio interface also features a high power headphone output with volume control on the front, ideal for private listening, producing, and mixing. The Focusrite 2Pre USB Audio Interface also features an ADAT input, allowing for expansion of up to 8 additional input channels if needed.

Included Software

The Focusrite Clarett 2Pre USB comes bundled with a range of software for recording, processing, and producing music. Ableton Live Lite is included, providing you with a customised and streamlined version of Ableton Live, allowing you to get started with making music. Create music straight out the box with the included 2GB of royalty-free samples from Loopmasters, and process them with a range of Softube's world-class reverb, delay, mastering, and distortion plug-ins. Focusrite have partnered with Brainworx to give Clarett owners the bx_console Focusrite plug-in for free. A flawless emulation of the iconic ISA 110 Equaliser and ISA 130 Dynamics Modules that retails for $349, bx_console Focusrite perfectly captures the famously open sound of the Focusrite Studio Console and adds a number of new features including continuous Gain and THD controls.
