The DSM03 provides 3.5mm jack inputs allowing individual voltage control of feedback amount, tuning, low-pass filter frequency and filter resonance all for shaping and mangling your sound source. It features attack and decay attenuators allowing you to tweak the envelope time for the output level. The DSM03 Feedback Module's tuned feedback delay has a wide 9 octave range allowing you to completely transform your audio source.
New Filter Design
The filter on the DSM03 is a new digital design based on classic analog filters of the past. It is a 4-pole, resonant, lowpass filter that features over-sampling and numerous refinements to the signal path resulting in a great sounding design that works well in both a feedback context and as a sound shaping tool. Adjust the resonance and cutoff attenuators to transform your sounds.
Tone Generation
As well as being a feedback module, the DSM03 also doubles as a tone generator through its Karplus-Strong plucked string synthesis capabilities. Connect a control voltage signal of 1.6V or above to the TRIGGER IN jack and then connect the audio output to a mixer or other module that provides a sound source to generate white noise that can be shaped with the attack and decay attenuators.
