Artist Control V2 is the flagship product of the Artist Series, featuring a programmable touch-screen interface, a multifunction wheel, dedicated transport controls, a monitor control section, four faders and eight knobs in a compact footprint. Artist Control’s programmability and range of functions makes it perfect for sound and video editors, and it can also serve as the master section of a multi-unit Artist Series system. Artist Control ships with preprogrammed soft keys for most major media applications, and users can easily program their own custom commands. Avid Artist Control V2 features a new LED-backlit touch-screen which dramatically improves the viewing angle and color consistency over the original model.

8 touch-sensitive rotary knobs
Offer direct control over application parameters such as panning and gain, to plug-ins, EQ and more – can also be pressed to instantiate and navigate through parameters
Multi-function wheel and transport controls
Ergonomic layout puts the transport controls and data entry wheel right at the user’s fingertips – soft keys can be used to modify wheel function on the fly (jog, shuttle, zoom horizontally/vertically, trim clip head/tail, set clip gain, cross fade, etc.)
