The Alesis TwoTrack is the easiest way to record studio-quality, stereo sound in any setting. Featuring convenient, dedicated-function controls and an easy-to-read, backlit LCD, the The TwoTrack is designed for capturing high-quality sound without demanding your constant attention. You can easily carry the TwoTrack in your pocket, gig bag, stick bag, or virtually any other case. The TwoTrack puts easy-to-use recording in the palm of your hand.
Sometimes you just need a good way to record without all the complicated setup of microphones, cables and mixers. The TwoTrack is your solution. It’s small enough to keep in your guitar case or laptop bag and runs on just one AA battery for hours of recording.
Set the TwoTrack down in the corner of the room on the Alesis Tripod Stand (sold separately) and forget about it. Your recording will be saved in the TwoTrack’s internal 128MB memory or on a micro SD or SDHC card up to 8GB (sold separately) for more than 100 hours of uncompressed WAV, or thousands of hours of MP3. At the end of your session or rehearsal, you’ll have a 16-bit, 44.1 stereo wav file, or an MP3 at up to 192 kbps so you can listen to your performance and move it to your computer, music player, or phone.
Beyond music applications, the TwoTrack is great for recording interviews, business meetings, speeches, nature sounds, lectures, or just notes to yourself. You can easily mount TwoTrack on standard camera stands or on the optional Alesis Mic Stand Adapter, which allows the TwoTrack to be placed on a mic stand. If you have a favorite microphone, the TwoTrack features a convenient mic/line input right on its side for mono or stereo sources.
The TwoTrack’s microphone gain control is ergonomically designed to be right under your thumb or forefinger for easy adjustment, and you can easily monitor each mic’s level on the TwoTrack’s backlit LCD screen. A red LED indicates when you are recording and alerts you when clipping occurs so you can adjust accordingly. If you prefer, automatic gain control allows adjust levels automatically to keep them consistent and virtually eliminate distortion.
