ToonTrack’s EZmix 2 software aims to help you get the best from your recordings quickly, without having to spend years learning the intricacies of mixing. EZmix 2 comes with a huge range of effects processors, which can be easily arranged as chains on your tracks, simply by choosing from the vast collection of presets. All the effects from the previous version of EZmix are included, alongside new reverb effects, a mastering suite, a guitar and bass amplifier and cabinet simulation.

The presets are organised by instrument, effect, type, and genre, enabling you to quickly find the right sound for your mix. Need a big amp stack sound for your electric guitar? Simply choose Guitar Electric from the menu and you’ll find several big amp stack presets ready to bring up. As well as insert effects there are also presets designed for Aux. sends, Group busses and the Master channel. This means not only can you get the right sounds on each individual instrument, but glue them together just as a pro mix engineer would with buss processing.

While it’s entirely possible to get your mix up by simply bringing up the desired preset and moving on, EZmix 2 can be customised to more closely fit the music. Input and Output dials enable you to ensure the effects are being driven at the right level, while two shape controls provide access to multiple effects parameters depending on the preset, enabling you to fine-tune the effect to your track.
